xkcd Papyrus!

http://xkcd.com/590/

Hilarious! Oh xkcd, our worlds finally collide. How cool is that. Thanks to Emma, Jeff, and Will for leaving this for me to wake up to. Coincidentally I was scanning the card aisle this morning for Papyrus cards, nothing yet, but it's there, somewhere.

Make My Day...

Make My Day

Wow...really? And it's massive! There's definitely not happiness in there. Another expensive looking sign though so I don't get it. We have to thank David again as he takes us down the "gauntlet" on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, California. This is one of three, all apparently within a block. Check back soon for the next ones, or subscribe to the RSS feed.

Red Seas Under Papyrus

red seas enter page

Here we have a website for a book discovered by David. This is the second doorway or "enter" page, so I'll let you do the honours at www.scottlynch.us. Yes there is Papyrus and maybe even Shakespeare in Papyrus. Scott Lynch is a fantasy author that has written two books, Red Seas Under Red Skies and a sequel. Seemed to die off in 2007, but that much Papyrus even then should have been avoided.

European Crepes and Papyrus Waffles

European Crepes and Papyrus Waffles

We've known of this one for a long time, and finally I walked by it on the Halifax boardwalk. One of the first local sightings, before this site, that built the list that would create it.

Papyrus Maki

Celsius Sushi Bar

There it is, the Papyrus Sushi Restaurant. It's been a while since we've had a food sighting here. This was sent in bt Christopher who says he avoids the restaurant basaed on their lack of design sense. There's definitely something to that, I wouldn't feel right, something'd just be off the whole time, before the sushi came.

Also to be noted: their website is more like a web page, with no menu. They are also open till close. Who knew.

LA's Dopest Attorney

LA's Dopest Attorney

Allison Margolin, LA's dopest attorney, chooses Papyrus, the least dope font. This ad in itself is just hilarious, I'm really actually glad it's in Papyrus so we can post it. Otherwise, I think it speaks for itself. Pretty much just, wow.

Big thanks to Andrew for sending this in!
