Papyrus Halloween Time

Well, here it is. A selection of quality Halloween costumes from Chris' album. Maybe you want to be the demon warrior from the legion of darkness, or a perhaps a naughty ninja.

Papyrus form the Other Side

Drew sent us this website, abookofinsight.com for the "A Book of Insight: Wisdom form the Other Side" a book of Insights" Seriously. Not quite sure about this book... But anyway, what's even more wacky is that glowing 3D word art Papyrus.

Save the Wooooorld!

Telling me that I can save the world in Papyrus really makes me skeptical, especially the kerning on each line. The real problem is that it looks like the body copy is also in Papyrus, which would make it really really difficult to read. Oh what has become of us.

Oh Del Monte, how could you indeed

Sent in by one of our Facebook fans, Eartha, this shot illustrates the divide between design and current conversations on the "Internets", as some call "social media". Clearly a disconnect. Is this what (years ago) they referred to as the "digital divide"? No, probably not, but clearly some overpaid employee in Del Monte's marketing department isn't paying attention, yet still on a decent salary. Where the hell's my annual supply of canned peaches in light syrup or pear juice? God damn. Life is truly unfair.

Papyrus Chicken Souvlaki Pita

The Chicken Souvlaki at Extreme Pita. I just ate one, and it was delicious, but, well, I dunno it's Papyrus. I just wanted the tzatziki and feta combo so bad.

Hand Job...c'mon...

Wow, thanks to everyone who sent this in! What an atrocity indeed, on so many levels (well, two at least...that grand opening sign is getting a bit far from grand).

Jesus was a liberal, says Papyrus

Well, since we're on the theme of Jesus how about this shot sent in by Elizabeth. Where do I start, or maybe I just shouldn't. This one's just terrible, topping of with Papyrus really completes the package.

Jesus Hates Papyrus

These business cards from Holy Cow Creative says it all. But not the plant, the plant is pretty sweet looking, actually. So are these cards!

Papyrus Gallery

They're referring to Papyrus paper, and of course, what more suitable a font. Someone thought they were bang on clever with this one. I don't see what it's got to do with papyrus though, doesn't look like anything is painted on papyrus. Visit their website for more. Thanks to Stuart for the pic and link.

NEW! Papyrus Identification Guide

Hello friends! We're happy to introduce the Papyrus Identification Guide.
Papyrus Identification Guide on Squidoo
I decided to play around with Squidoo for this one, seemed like a good platform to lay out an informational page with all things Papyrus. So send it to your friends so they get what you're talking about when you spot Papyrus, and help spread awareness.

PS: The ad revenue on that page is automatically donated to charity, too. I've got a couple lenses that have racked up about $25 to date, so hey, maybe it'll make a few bucks.

Pristine Papyrus

This site was discovered by Alexa, yet another example of papyrus use in the green/eco-friendly organic-ish industry. Some neat stuff on the website actually, too bad the logo's not so hot. The real kicker though is the Papyrus body copy on the site itself. Gah! No! Never do that.

I'mma let you finish...

Forgot about this one! Found it for the day or two the Kanye-Swift incident was funny. It's funny because Avatar uses Papyrus (seriously). lol.

Organic Fiji

organicfiji.com

Andrea nabbed us a screenshot of the Organic Fiji website which sells organic lotions and soaps and things. Check it out if you want a tropical Papyrus overload. Another point for the organic tally. Although this isn't the usual organic food, this pineapple coconut soap sounds like you could actually eat it...but that's what I thought about those Rialto Naturals soaps and well, probably just don't eat any soap.

American Film Institute Papyrus

Our friend Torley spotted Papyrus looming ominously behind Roman Polanski in an interview by the American Film Institute. I think it says "Mystery" and it's in every backdrop of the related interviews, too :S Tsk tsk.
