Ah, the majestic tiger. Now clumped in with the rest of the shoddy Papyrus logos and various designs taken by this font on this Animal Planet DVD spotted by Dave. This isn't the first time we've seen an animal documentary titled in Papyrus. First Disney, now The Discovery Channel. And I'm sure, although I wish I wasn't, that we haven't seen the last.

This excellent logo was sent in from a designer who had to redraw it. When asked for the vector file they received a Word doc with a scanned image of the company's fax cover sheet. Sounds about right.

Well this is a weird story to wake up to with tweets from @oregano42 and @bekahmurphy. You can read the story over at TMZ. Really would have never pictured Tommy Lee as a Papyrus guy, I can just picture it now.. "Times New Roman is lame, what's this, Arial? Super lame. Helvetica? That's the fuckin' same thing as Arial. Wait what's that one...Papyrus fuck yeah, there it is". Or something.

Graphic Design Basics: Don't use Papyrus unless it's for mockery. Eric send us this "Graphic Design Basics" book that he had to buy for school. I actually didn't even notice the Papyrus amongst the other fonts, especially the word art. Certainly not evidence that the state of the education system is just fine. You know the saying "better than nothing"? Well that doesn't apply here, I'm pretty sure that anyone would be better off without this book.
