Been seeing Papyrus making its way onto shirts lately, half the time it's when I'm at a thrift store. But here's on sent in by Brandon that I'm guessing is form the gift shop at Arches National Park. Pretty far from awesome.

Joel sends us some fancy Canadian water boasting its natural spring water-ness (most likely from the vast water sands of Canada) with the most appropriate font for the job.

We talk about this often in the design industry, looking at other work, etc. and deciding whether it's good or not. We can be really critical of course, so I usually refer to something as over the line or not (that is, acceptable or not). This is one of those cases. Kris sent this is as 'horrid' but I don't really think it's that bad overall, save for the Papyrus, which really makes me wonder even more than usual how it happened. There's some Rosewood Fill too, which I kind of like. At the beginning of the year I predicted we'd be seeing more of it throughout the year and I've been spotting it more often, but hasn't really been overdone.

Jack sent this pic saying "hey it's Papyrus and Comic Sans" and then I'm sayin "mmm that's not Comic Sans...". It's a serif, but almost, Comic Serif ("Comic"?). I don't know, anyone? But it's not pretty. But that sure is Papyrus. Add that to the icicle lights, neon open sign, and yellow siding and you've got a wine shop - stuffy or not - that I'll probably walk by on the opposite sidewalk.

I don't know, pretty funny? Really don't know what's going on here. The photobomb I mean, churches seem to love Papyrus. Must be on of those new-wave fun churches. Thanks go to Tricia for sending this in.
