We need a font renaissance
Free tickets to the Renaissance Festival! What I don't get is why the Papyrus? The font on the ticket is much more appropriate. Although the publisher likely didn't have that font on file, but still. Papyrus and "$42 Value" don't sit well with me. Thanks to Kris for this one.

Thank you for this website, I thought I was the only one that both hated this font AND noticed that it's everywhere. I don't even work in anything related to design and still angers me greatly to see it.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this garbage from coast to coast in the US as well as all over Europe. Will be submitting once my eyes stop burning.
And check out the kerning between F and e in "Festival." Granted, I wouldn't expect somebody using Papyrus to give a rat's ass about kerning.
