It&amp;#39;s normal for official typesetting to only be a single space. Take a look through books, newspapers, and magazines and you&amp;#39;ll see. There&amp;#39;s no good reason to have two spaces - it takes longer and takes up more room. In addition, on the web, HTML doesn&amp;#39;t even support two spaces ... you can&amp;#39;t put in two spaces in a row in HTML unless you enter the special code for a space. From the early-mid nineties, it was before the Papyrus fad (I&amp;#39;m still trying to work out what&amp;#39;s so wrong with people liking a font.  I like it too).  Still not as bad as the love affair with Comic Sans MS. ;)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And yes, what&amp;#39;s wrong with having two spaces after a full stop?  That&amp;#39;s word processing/typing language protocol as far as I know.  I was always taught that anyway.
